I needed to write to you tonight to thank you so much Joyce and to tell you a little more about myself and what you’ve given me. Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Right now, I’m exhibiting in Paris because last year a wonderful woman, You, popped up on my screen.

Three years ago I had a burn-out and depression, for which I’m still being treated. 

Art was my medicine, I started scribbling thoughts in little notebooks in bed. Finally I got up and started painting.

Two years later, I was getting discouraged and thinking I was crazy for needing my creativity to get better. It was you, Joyce, who showed me that it was right to trust myself, and who encouraged me to trust myself even more than I had been. To believe in everything my creativity brings me.

You allowed me to unleash it completely.

I became an artist.

and I was spotted on Instagram to exhibit in Paris.

I think of you and the precious gift you gave me.

I’ve been feeling total overwhelm, I’d forgotten to breath, big deep breaths helped me centre myself again. I’ve felt very deeply, it’s a good time to get off the merry go round & just focus on me.

It seems to me that everything has speeded up, in astounding ways and this time feels like a blessing to, as you say restock and rethink where you want to be and with who.

I’m actually really looking forward to this time 😊

It’s like I have spent a lot of time running around finding the fragments I was searching for. And now it feels much more like I can attract the inspiration to come to me. I have no idea if that makes any sense ~ it’s so much a feeling and kind of tricky to describe. It’s like really coming home to my art. - Thank you so much Joyce ~ for this magic, safe and playful space you hold with so much power and love.
